The Leading Edge LE-v150 is our largest vertical axis wind turbine. Rugged, quiet, and highly reliable, the LE-v150 is designed to provide power outputs of up to 200 watts for a host of different battery charging applications. The LE-v150 Standard Kit includes the DL-300 diversion charge controller to protect the batteries from over-charging.
The wind turbine is connected directly to the batteries along with the DL-300 charge controller. When the batteries are fully charged, the controller diverts excess power generated by the wind turbine into the DL-300's resistor, dissipating the power as heat.
Choose between the regular LEv150, the tougher LEv150 Extreme, or the most robust LEv150 Storm. All are available with the DL300 in 12V or 24V. For a 48V kit, see the LEv150 Advanced Kit.
Included are 5 x 70mm U-bolts (Stainless Steel) for side mounting to 50mm or 60mm OD pole.
