Leading Edge Power is a British designer and manufacturer of small wind turbines and complete off-grid power solutions, based in Herefordshire. Since 2009, we've been delivering local power worldwide, with our products now operating in over 65 countries across all seven continents, from remote hilltops to the icy extremes of Antarctica.
Built on our heritage in wind turbine design, our turbines are precision engineered in the UK and are widely recognised for their durability and reliability. We offer both horizontal and vertical axis turbines, capable of delivering dependable power in even the harshest environments — a testament to their performance in extreme, off-grid locations.
Beyond turbines, we also manufacture robust, pre-configured systems like the Smart BaseStation and the PowerBox. These plug-and-go off-grid power solutions provide 24/7 energy in remote areas — ideal for customers seeking a dependable, low-maintenance alternative to fossil fuel generators.

Following the devastating loss of our Managing Director in 2021, our 12-strong team has continued to thrive, outgrowing our original farmyard base and moving into a purpose-built facility, marking a new chapter in our development.
